Student of the Week!

Claire finally made it! Students at our school are awarded "tiger cub cards" for good behavior and/or citizenship. When a student receives a card, he or she puts it in the box for the appropriate grade level. Each week, one card is drawn from each grade box, and that student is named "Student of the Week" for his/her grade. Claire's class just happened to be in the library when her name was called over the intercom. She looked a little stunned at first. She was so excited! She got a coloring book, a certificate, and a box of peanut m&ms. She got the card for sharing her snack. I'm so proud of her giving spirit.
